The premier MUN in the Philippines is back.
JUNE 5-7, 2026
University of the Philippines Diliman

1/4

PHIMUN 2026 is onset to confront a defining shift in the global order:
The retreat from hyper-globalization toward deglobalization marked by fragmentation, protectionism, and weakened multilateralism. As diplomacy fractures, marginalized groups face heightened vulnerability, while forgotten crises fade from headlines despite ongoing conflict and humanitarian need.

Through the theme:
Cultivating Diplomatic Resilience:
Addressing the Issues of Marginalized Groups and Forgotten Crises in an Era of Deglobalization
PHIMUN 2026 calls attention to the human cost of eroding asylum norms, abandoned populations, and the weaponization of interdependence.

This June, PHIMUN challenges delegates to re-center dialogue, diplomacy, and international action on those rendered invisible by contemporary power dynamics.
Eyes on the margins.
